Description

The first time I knitted this vest was in 2005. It was given to my eldest daughter and I used it so much that I asked the person who gave it to me to teach me how to knit it. I will be eternally grateful to that knitter for having the patience to explain it to me and motivate me to write down the instructions. It's the vest I've knitted the most times in my life, and my daughters' favorite when they were little. The vest has a zipper in the back, which makes it very easy to put on and very comfortable. The hat keeps the kids warm and cozy.

This vest is knitted from the top down, in one piece. In English, this is called a "top down" vest or sweater. The fit of this vest is straight and it is knitted with a purl stitch. You can adjust the length of the body and sleeves according to your own taste. The level of this pattern is beginner. If you follow the instructions carefully, you can knit it without any difficulty. There are video tutorials associated with each step of the vest and it is indicated when you should watch them. In addition, the pattern includes step-by-step photos and shows different color combinations that can be knitted. I hope you enjoy knitting this vest as much as I did!
