My First Online Vest Workshop

Jandi Gardiazabal

The My First Vest Workshop is a theoretical-practical class. Here we will learn the most common types of sweater and vest constructions. We will also review body proportions and sizing and, finally, we will understand how to calculate with a fabric sample to start our first project. It is very important to emphasize that this class is theoretical-practical, but we will not knit in it, but we will lay the foundations so you can do it yourself as a homework. To take this workshop, you only need to know how to knit backwards and forwards... and be willing to experiment.

Who is this workshop for?

If you know how to knit, but have not yet passed the scarf or square barrier and you are dying to learn how to knit your first vest (for yourself or for someone else).

Who isn't this workshop for?

If you don't know how to knit, this workshop is very advanced for you. Now, if you want to learn how to design knitted garments and your expectation is to write patterns, this workshop is very basic for you.

Important Information

- The workshop does not include materials. You need to have wool (or other yarn) and the corresponding sticks to be able to practice (straight or circular)
- The class is by Zoom. You will receive the link via e-mail on the day of your class. And a couple of days before, a mini homework that you should bring with you to make the most of the 2 hours we will be together.
- Space is limited. Once the workshop has been purchased, it is not possible to change dates.
