My First Vest Workshop in person | Alto Las Condes
Place: Alto Las Condes
Date and Time: Saturday November 20 from 11:00 - 13:00 hrs
My First Vest Workshop is a theoretical-practical class. Here we will learn the most common types of sweater and vest constructions. We will also review body proportions and sizing, and finally, we will understand how to calculate with a fabric sample to start our first project. It is very important to emphasize that this class is theoretical-practical, but we will not knit in it, but we will lay the foundations so you can do it yourself as a homework. To take this workshop, you only need to know how to knit backwards and forwards... and be willing to experiment.
Who is this workshop for?
If you know how to knit, but haven't yet passed the scarf or square barrier and you're dying to learn how to knit your first vest (for yourself or for someone else).
Who isn't this workshop for?
If you don't know how to knit, this workshop is very advanced for you. Now, if you want to learn how to design knitted garments and your expectation is to write patterns, this workshop is very basic for you.
- The workshop includes materials.
- The class is at the Revesderecho store in Alto Las Condes. A couple of days before you will receive an email with a mini homework assignment that you should bring with you to make the most of the 2 hours we will be together.
- Space is limited. Once the workshop is purchased, it is not possible to change dates.
- According to the rules established by COVID-19 to attend the workshop you must have your mobility pass and wear a mask during the entire class. Dates and times may change due to contingency.
